kilts fit differently than jeans or other pants so take that into consideration and follow the sizing recommendations. I love this kilt. great fabric, great color, fits perfectly and has very practical ‘cargo’ type pockets. Also, this particular seller is very accommodating and easy to work with if you need a different size or color. I’d highly recommend.

If you’re new to kilts, I can offer some advice as I wavered back and forth for a long time. If you wear a kilt, own it. wear it with confidence. embrace the weird looks as well as the positive compliments. There will be plenty of both. Also, wear boots and high socks, they look weird with sneakers. As far as going commando, its a liberating feeling. However, in public, in my experience, its wise to at least wear boxers, or even a pair of shorts underneath. Its very unflattering to have to tuck your kilt like a woman tucks her skirt when sitting down, and you don’t want your bare ass on any surface you can’t control. like, say, a bus seat, or other public flat surface for that matter. And while we’re on the topic of skirts, a kilt is not a skirt, no matter what your wife or 3 year old daughter says. A kilt is awesome on a man. A skirt is not. end of story.great company great services…

Honestly GREAT product! This is my first kilt and I am very happier. It fits pretty well and I made sure to read the reviews so I ordered a little above my jeans size and it fits nice. The reason I gave it a 5 is because of the color. The red is a more dark maroon and the white is sort of a light grey so keep that in mind. Thats why i say it is great!
